Cajun Fried Louisiana Redfish-A Family Vacation

Redfish
I hadn’t had a family outing with my two sons in quite some time, so I thought to myself “Where could I take these two for a wholesome Father/Son vacation?” I wanted there to be fishing, which is something we like to do together. And good food, since like their father, they are not afraid to experiment with new cuisines. Finally, after pondering the endless opportunities for an extended weekend of bonding in a family environment, I decided on…New Orleans! What could be better for a couple of young gentlemen of 28 and 30 years old?

DiveBarI wanted them to experience the Historic Architecture of the French Quarter so that they could understand the contributions of the French Settlers.

I made sure they paid tribute to the music, and respect to the many talented musicians whom ply their talents at the respectable establishments throughout The Big Easy.Music

I asked that they embrace, with their very souls, the essence of this proud city. The mood of the people, their culture, and their undeniable spirit.HugeAss

The boys were often times contemplative, both of their fortunes in life, and of their surroundings.

I tried to lead by example, by not standing out in a crowd, or becoming the obnoxious over-parenting tourist .

After all, they’re my boys, a reflection of me, and I love ’em. That’s all the reward a father could ask for.
